None have ever considered the secrets to the origin and continuation of man’s life. And yet, only God who understands all of this silently endures the hurt and blows from man, who has received everything from God but is not thankful. Man takes for granted all that life brings, and “as a matter of course,” God is betrayed, forgotten, and extorted by man. Is the plan of God truly of such importance? Is man, the living being that came from the hand of God, truly of such importance? The plan of God is of absolute importance; however, the living being created by the hand of God exists for His plan. Therefore, God cannot lay waste to His plan out of hatred for this mankind. It is for the sake of His plan and the breath He exhaled that God endures all torment, not for the flesh of man but for the life of man. He wishes to take back not the flesh of man but the life He breathed out. This is His plan."

The work done by Paul was exhibited before man, but how pure was his love for God, how much was his love for God deep down in his heart—these are unseeable by man. Man can only behold the work that he did, from which man knows that he was surely used by the Holy Spirit, and so man thinks that Paul was better than Peter, that his work was greater, for he was able to provide to the churches. Peter only looked to his personal experiences, and gained but a few people during his occasional work. From him there are but a few little-known epistles, but who knows how great was his love for God deep within his heart? Day in, day out, Paul worked for God: As long as there was work to be done, he did it. He felt that in this way he would be able to gain the crown, and could satisfy God, yet he did not seek ways to change himself through his work. Anything in Peter’s life that did not satisfy God’s desire made him feel uneasy.

Most people believe in God for the sake of their future destination, or for temporary enjoyment. For those who have not undergone any dealing, belief in God is for the sake of entering into heaven, in order to gain rewards. It is not in order to be made perfect, or to perform the duty of a creature of God. Which is to say that most people do not believe in God in order to fulfill their responsibility, or to complete their duty. Rarely do people believe in God in order to lead meaningful lives, nor are there those who believe that since man is alive, he should love God because it is Heaven’s law and earth’s principle to do so, and is the natural vocation of man. In this way, although different people each pursue their own goals, the aim of their pursuit and the motivation behind it are all alike, and, what’s more, for most of them the objects of their worship are much the same.

    On November 19, 2017, the French Jaurès Team of Amnesty International, a long-time human rights watchdog organization in various countries, held a running activity called Run for Freedom (Courir pour la Liberté) at the Buttes-Chaumont Park (Parc des Buttes Chaumont) in Paris, aiming to call on the Chinese and Turkish authorities to immediately cease persecution of its Turkey chairman, Taner Kılıç, Chinese women's rights activist Su Changlan, and nine other Turkish human rights activists. This is yet another call and condemnation by the international community on the dramatic deterioration of the human rights conditions in China and Turkey. The persecuted Christians of The Church of Almighty God also participated in the running activity, who expressed that they were participating in the event to support human rights and appeal for the abusive human rights situation in China. They introduced that since God appeared to work in 1991, The Church of Almighty God has been suppressed and persecuted by the CCP government. Statistics show that just in the short span of two years between 2011 and 2013, as many as 380,000 Christians of The Church of Almighty God had been unlawfully arrested, imprisoned and convicted by the CCP government, of which 43,000 were subject to various means of torture in secret courts that resulted in the death of 13 people. To date, well-documented cases indicate that 44 Christians of The Church of Almighty God had been persecuted to death by the Chinese government. As a result of the escalating repression, they were forced to flee to overseas countries for asylum. Their experiences have also drawn the attention of an increasing number of international human rights organizations and individuals.

    On December 14, 2017, a news conference with the theme of Religious Freedom Violations in China—A Case Study of Persecution Against Christian Minorities was jointly held by the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR) and the Center for Studies on Freedom of Religion, Belief and Conscience (LIREC) in the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome.     For years, the issue of worsening human rights in China has drawn the international community's concerns and vigorous denouncement. On December 7, 2017, the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, held a news conference in Cologne on the Current Situation of Human Rights in China. Those invited to attend the forum were experts concerned about the human rights situation in China, representatives of persecuted groups in China, the press corps and so on. The Church of Almighty God, which has been subject to brutal suppression and persecution for years by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has gained the understanding and support of increasingly more international organizations recently.     On November 28, 2017, nine international non-governmental organizations, including Coordination of Associations and Individuals for Freedom of Conscience (CAP Freedom of Conscience), the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), and the European Interreligious Forum for Religious Freedom (EIFRF), jointly issued a statement condemning the CCP's efforts to attack and discredit The Church of Almighty God by using the media and swaying public opinion in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions. The nine NGOs pointed out that "The fact that several articles against The Church of Almighty God appeared at the same time in different countries cannot be a coincidence. It is part of an effort by the Chinese regime to hide the fact that it violates the provisions of international conventions on religious liberty it has subscribed, something for which it keeps being condemned by international organizations."
